Tiaira Jones-Hill
Founder & Executive Director
For Tiaira Jones-Hill, A Sisterhood for Fatherless Daughters began with lived experience.
After losing her father at a young age, Tiaira experienced firsthand how fatherlessness can continue to shape a girl's life long after childhood. As she grew into adulthood, she began recognizing how those experiences influenced her relationships, healing, identity, and the way she navigated the world.
That realization eventually became the foundation for A Sisterhood for Fatherless Daughters.
Turning Experience Into Purpose
In 2023, Tiaira founded A Sisterhood for Fatherless Daughters with a vision of creating something she wished had existed during her own journey: a community where women impacted by fatherlessness could connect with others who understood their experiences without needing to explain them.
What began as a vision for sisterhood has continued to evolve under her leadership.
Tiaira has led the development of ASFD's signature Bonding Time program, helping transform it from community gatherings into a structured healing experience for adult women impacted by fatherlessness.
She also led ASFD's expansion into family support after recognizing the needs of single mothers and families facing unexpected hardship. That work became the foundation for the Sisterhood Family Support Initiative, extending ASFD's impact from individual women to entire households.
Leading the Next Chapter
As Founder & Executive Director, Tiaira leads ASFD's organizational strategy, program development, partnerships, fundraising, and long-term growth.
Her vision is to build an organization that not only creates meaningful experiences for women today, but develops sustainable programs, partnerships, and systems capable of reaching women and families for generations to come.
At the center of that vision remains the belief that started ASFD:
Women impacted by fatherlessness deserve a place to heal, grow, belong, and build meaningful connections with women who understand.

As A Sisterhood for Fatherless Daughters continues to grow, we're looking for passionate, mission-aligned individuals who want to contribute their experience, leadership, and skills to our work.
Join our Board of Directors
We're building a strong and engaged Board of Directors to help guide ASFD's next stage of growth.
We're interested in leaders who bring experience in areas such as nonprofit leadership, finance, fundraising, legal/governance, community engagement, marketing, strategic partnerships, and organizational development.
Board members should be prepared to actively participate in governance, attend regular meetings, support fundraising and resource development, and serve as ambassadors for ASFD's mission.
Become a Bonding Time Facilitator
Help create meaningful spaces for women impacted by fatherlessness to heal, reflect, connect, and grow.
We're interested in experienced facilitators who are comfortable guiding group conversations, creating supportive environments, working with sensitive topics, and helping women engage with the Bonding Time curriculum.
Relevant experience may include facilitation, social work, counseling, psychology, community programming, peer support, coaching, or related fields.
